Prima Information Solutions Inc. (Prima) was established in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador in April 1995 and has been growing and innovating ever since. Prima is a leading expert in the field of Records and Information Management across Canada. In addition, we have a service department to offer support for all of your information technology needs, including creation and expansion of networks, installation, training and support of your hardware and software requirements.

Our dedicated team collectively possesses more than 50 years experience in Information Management (IM) and Information Technology (IT), holding certifications and designations including: Certified Records Manager (CRM), Enterprise Content Management Practitioner (ECMP), Information Organization and Access Practitioner (IOAP ), VMWare, A+, Microsoft Certifications, Dell Certifications and SQL Certifications.

In August 2006, Prima opened the St. John's Centre of Excellence for TOWER Software and has provided extensive support services to the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador for its TRIM Context planning and implementation.
TRIM Context enables government, in its leading information management initiative, to improve its efficiency and effectiveness as an innovative government; to integrate its IT functions with innovative approaches to managing official records; and to assist in the planning of information management improvements in the future.
At the opening of the St. John's Centre of Excellence, the Honourable Danny Williams, Premier, Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, said. "We have been pleased with the service provided by TOWER Software over the years and the performance of the TRIM Context product as it has evolved.
"This next step is an important one in advancing information management standards and practices across government, and the partnership with TOWER Software is an important feature in our plans.
