Brenda Prowse, CRM

Brenda graduated in 1992 from the University of Western Ontario, with a Master of Library and Information Science degree. In July 2008, she earned her Certified Records Manager (CRM) certification.

She has more than 19 years of experience in Information Management with a number of organizations, including: Provincial Archives of Newfoundland and Labrador; Records and Information Management, Alumni Office, Memorial University; and Newfoundland Hydro.

In 2003, Brenda started her own company, providing end-user support and training on TRIM Captura and Context for Atlantic Canada.

In 2005, Brenda joined the TOWER Software U.S. team as a Business Analyst in Reston, Virginia, and in 2008 continued in the role of Information Systems Architect with HP in Vancouver after it acquired TOWER.

In 2009, she returned to Newfoundland and Labrador to work with Prima as Senior Business Analyst, and has since ben promoted to Manager of Professional Services & IM.

Brenda's commitment to the IM community has been evident for many years. She has held various board positions with ARMA within Newfoundland and Labrador. She also has given her time to the local college system by providing training, feedback on curriculum development, and presentations to students on various aspects of IM. She has been a regular speaker for ARMA locally and nationally and now holds the position of Treasurer with ARMA International.

Prima staff have extensive experience with TRIM which translates into a wealth of knowledge that they share with clients to assist software administrators and end-users with implementing and operating TRIM. In addition to providing the software, Prima employees demonstrate a thorough understanding of records management fundamentals which they applied to ensure that our records management program received the maximum return on investment from TRIM.
